About Dr. Bird

Dr. Richard Bird earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders from Brigham Young University in 2008 and his Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Louisville in 2012. He holds his Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). He also holds the Certified in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) credential.

Richard was first introduced to audiology by his brother-in-law, who is also an audiologist. What began as an introduction to the profession quickly grew into a genuine fascination with the complexity of the human ear and the remarkable way we hear. That appreciation continues to inspire his dedication to helping patients improve their hearing and quality of life.

One of Richard’s favorite parts of being an audiologist is getting to know his patients and hearing their life stories. He finds inspiration in the people he meets and values the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while helping them stay connected to the world around them.

Richard and his wife are both originally from Springville, Utah, and have three children. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on his children at their plays, soccer matches, and tennis games, and climbing mountains.
